I'm just a Bill, yes I'm only a Bill...
Well, okay, maybe not just a Bill, I'm also a Brad (on Saturday Nights), and occasionally, a Tommy...

Update: This is a copy of my very first website, and while not terribly fancy, it
lived quite happily on
Geocities
for many years ... until, for no apparent reason, they deleted it.
I suppose I'm lucky enough to have a backup copy at all, even if the contents are a *bit* out of date.
Under Construction I'll see what I can do to update the various pages as time permits. Otherwise, enjoy the pretty graphics, which seem to have held up awfully well. 10/02/2003 |

ROMSUM is a command-line utility that calculates a straight checksum value,
for any given image. ROMSUM was written primarily for the pinball world,
and the utility is designed to recognize known EPROM sizes. It also includes
the ability to calculate the checksum for each 0x1000 page, which is helpful
when working with Williams System 11{A,B,C} ROMs.
You may download the latest version of ROMSUM here:
ROMSUM Version 2.5 will run under any version of
MS-DOS or from a Windows Command Prompt.
ROMSUM Version 3.0 must be run from a Windows
Command Prompt, but it also supports long filenames.
If you have any questions, comments or suggestions regarding the ROMSUM program,
please feel free to send me E-Mail.

I get by with a little help from my friends...
A loose affiliation of millionaires and billionaires and baby...
These are the days of miracle and wonder,
This is the long distance call...
The way the camera follows us in slow-mo,
The way we look to us all, oh yeah,
The way we look to a distant constellation that's dying in a corner of the sky...
These are the days of miracle and wonder
and don't cry baby, don't cry, don't cry,
don't cry...
"The Boy in the Bubble" -- Paul Simon, 1987
